HGV Class 1 Curtainsider Driver
Description

We are seeking dependable HGV Class 1 Curtainsider Drivers to support growing transport operations in Stowmarket. This temporary/contract role offers steady shifts and hourly pay from £17 to £21, based on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Transport palletised or general haulage goods using curtainsider trailers
  • Load and unload cargo safely, using appropriate securing methods
  • Complete delivery documents and logbooks accurately
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism on the road and with customers
Qualifications
  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • Curtainsider experience preferred
  • Good understanding of transport legislation and safety
  • Flexible and professional approach
